Why Do Christians Do What They Do?

Why don't Christians just go about their business and let other people do the same?  Why are they always trying to spread the word.  It's probably for the same reason that most people do anything.  Why do motor sports fans go to races & drivers go so fast?  Probably because they love it.  They're passionate because they don't know any other way to be.  That's your answer really! Christians are passionate about their relationship with Jesus because being lukewarm about Jesus is no more an option than driving less than flat out is an option for an race car driver.  So, what do Christians want you to know?

First, the Bible says there is no one who is pure.  We have all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God.  And when sin entered the world, death also entered the world because the fruit of sin is death .  Death came to everyone, because all have sinned.  But the free gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord.  God showed us His love for while we were still sinners, Jesus Christ came down from heaven to die on the cross for us.  This means that whoever believes in Jesus Christ as the Son of God, will be saved.  God raised Jesus from the dead, to prove once and for all that everyone who calls on the name of Jesus will be saved.  Anyone can call on God at anytime.  In the quietness of their own heart, they need only pray something like this, “Father, thank you for sending your son, Jesus Christ, to die on the cross for my sins.  Jesus, come into my life right now and be my saviour and take away my sins.”  If you ever do pray like that, let someone know.
